6 TIPS FOR ISOLATED SKIN

Social distancing, a simple phrase that's radically changed our lives over the last few weeks with the Coronavirus spreading across the continents. First and foremost I hope that you are safe and taking care of your health.

If you are under orders to stay inside, it's likely your regular beauty routine has been put on pause in some way. All this indoor time, plus added stress and lack of fresh air may be taking a toll on your skin.

To combat these issues, below are some simple tips you can use to practice good skincare at home (and don't forget a lot of my skincare is now 35% off at personal-touch.co.uk)

  1. STICK TO A ROUTINE - While you may not be able to get your usual facial or peel, you can maintain the effective home skincare plan tailored to your concerns. Need help determining which products to use? Contact Me

  2. APPLY A WEEKLY MASK - A weekly mask such as  Essential Peeling or Active Pureness can help clear pores, reduce acne and brighten the tone and texture of your skin. Wanting something more intense, how about my Sublime Skin Peel Pads which are used every other day for a monthly treatment, packing a decent punch of AHA's and Vitamin C to really give your complexion a boost.

  3. STAY HYDRATED - Staying hydrated can reduce acne and make your skin softer and more supple. Health authorities suggest the amount of water to drink per day is eight 8-ounce glasses of water. During these unprecedent times, I would suggest increases this intake and drink as much as you can, the Lymphatic system which works better in a more fluid environment plays a huge part on your immunity ability.

  4. AVOID TOUCHING YOUR FACE - Face touching has been repeatedly warned against for spreading coronavirus, but it can also spread dirt, oil and bacteria to your face which can clog pores

  5. STAY ACTIVE - Your favourite yoga class may be cancelled but now is not the time to stop moving. Physical activity helps flush bacteria out of your lungs and airways and can boost the body's ability to fight illness by stimulating the Lymphatic system. Plus it's great for relieving stress!

  6. GET YOUR NUTRIENTS - You may not be getting your full daily nutritional needs thanks to all the lovely people who keep stock piling the fruit and vegetables. A daily supplement can stop you worrying and keep your body in top condition ready to fight should the virus come your way. I have been taking Glow Edition by Equi London which I would highly recommend alongside their Beauty Formula.

Make sure you all take care of yourselves and your loved ones. I will be keeping in touch along the way.

Best Wishes
